About Lemerence
What is Lemerence?
Lemerence is a new skincare line from Azeva Inc., the California company behind Azeva. It starts with the PDRN + Retinol Night Serum, an anti-aging night serum for smoother, firmer-looking skin.
How is Lemerence related to Azeva?
Lemerence is made by the same team, which is why you'll see "Lemerence by Azeva" on the box. Azeva is our azelaic acid skincare line. Lemerence is our line for night care and smoother, firmer-looking skin.
When does Lemerence launch?
Soon. We're finishing the formula and packaging now. Join the waitlist and we'll email you as soon as it's available.
Where can I buy it, and how much will it cost?
We'll share where to buy and the price with the waitlist first, right before launch.
The night serum
What does the PDRN + Retinol Night Serum do?
It works overnight to soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles, smooth rough texture and leave skin looking plump, firm and rested by morning. Its serum-lotion texture is made with moisture barrier support in mind.
What is PDRN?
PDRN, short for polydeoxyribonucleotide, is a DNA-derived ingredient made popular by Korean skincare. Read our full guide: What is PDRN?
Where does your PDRN come from?
We'll confirm the source on the full ingredient list at launch. If you have a fish allergy, check that list and ask your doctor before trying it.
What's the full ingredient list?
We'll publish the complete ingredient list here and on the box at launch.
Who is it for?
Anyone who wants smoother, firmer-looking skin from a simple night routine. If you're new to retinol, start slowly. Our retinol for beginners guide shows how.
Is Lemerence a cosmetic?
Yes. Lemerence products are cosmetics, made to improve how skin looks and feels. If you have a skin concern that worries you, talk with your doctor.
Using retinol
How often should I use a retinol serum?
Start two nights a week. After a couple of weeks, move to every other night if your skin feels comfortable, then build up from there. Use it at night on clean, dry skin and follow with moisturizer.
Can I use it with vitamin C or exfoliating acids?
Keep them apart while you get used to retinol. Use exfoliating acids on different nights, and move vitamin C to your morning routine.
Can I use retinol while pregnant or breastfeeding?
The American Academy of Dermatology advises avoiding retinoids, including retinol, during pregnancy. If you're pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding, ask your doctor before using any retinol product.
Do I need sunscreen when using retinol?
Yes. Retinol can make skin more sensitive to the sun. Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher, every morning.
My skin feels dry or tight. What should I do?
Go back to fewer nights a week, use a richer moisturizer and pause exfoliating acids. The sandwich method helps too. If discomfort continues, stop and talk with your doctor.
